What plant owners want to know first.
Can you work with our PLCs and machines?
Yes, alongside your plant's PLC programmer or controls integrator. They own the machine logic, and we never change safety or control code. Our job is connecting the floor to the rest of the business: we read the data points your machines already produce, such as counts, cycle times, downtime and scrap, usually over OPC UA, Modbus or MQTT, and put them to work on shop-floor dashboards, in your ERP, or as alerts to the right person.
If going deeper inside your plant would improve quality, save time or raise output, we're glad to. That can mean one data point from a single press or a modern automation layer across the whole line.
On safety: Dean brings his own hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, high-vis vest, steel toes and safety training, and knows OSHA rules and standard plant PPE. He doesn't enter confined spaces or work at height without a tie-off, stays clear of forklift traffic, and never walks under a raised load. On your floor he follows your plant's safety rules the same as any of your employees.
Can JobBOSS² or Epicor integrate with QuickBooks?
Usually, yes. Epicor Kinetic, Business Central, Fishbowl and Katana have APIs we connect to directly. Older on-premise installs, including some JobBOSS² setups, may need a database or file-export bridge instead, and we confirm which during the audit.
We map customers, parts and GL accounts first, then run real orders through both sides before anyone switches over.
How much does manufacturing software integration cost?
Connecting an ERP to QuickBooks typically runs $2,500–$7,500, and a shop-floor dashboard $3,000–$8,000. Most plants start with a $500–$2,500 audit, and the fee is credited toward the project.
Bigger builds, such as a scheduling app or software that replaces a licensed package, run $15,000–$40,000+. They are delivered in gated stages, each with a written price before work starts.
Will this disrupt production?
No. Nothing we build touches the line's control code, and the new pieces run beside your current process until your team trusts them. We test with real jobs, pick a cutover day with your plant manager, and set every workflow to alert a named person on your team if it fails.
Do you come on site?
Yes. Dean visits plants across Middle Georgia, including Macon, Warner Robins, Perry and Forsyth, and walks the floor before proposing anything. Plants farther away get remote work, with a visit when seeing the line in person would help.
